For our Real Estate Finance International business area based in London, we are currently seeking to hire, with immediate effect, a

Origination Analyst (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • You prepare and present (or assist with) deal-specific business proposals to existing and potential clients and to internal committees. E.g. attending potential customer meetings and presenting (or assisting with) to New Deal and/or Credit committee.
  • You support both on-balance sheet business (the bank’s REFS business line) and/or Originate & Cooperate business (the bank’s REIS business line).
  • You preapre the detailed models needed for deal acquisition and financing including: cash flow models and sensitivity analysis (bank models and own modelling), IRR and bank's return model calculations, debt structuring including financial covenant planning, awareness of accounting/tax implications and awareness of inter-creditor structures.
  • You assist the deal team with any activities that help the deal process, e.g. recording meetings and follow-up actions, following-up on client requests, assisting with papers / proposals to internal Committees.
  • You contribute to new business ideas and products by researching potential clientes, and developments in the markets, presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Depending on your experience and skills, leading to structuring transactions to fit the bank's business model (both REFS and REIS).
  • You develop self to become more knowledgeable and experienced in the real estate market, real estate financing optionds and structures and the the Bank's operations.
  • Your personal objectives will be geared to support role to achieve Directors' and overall team new business targets (both REFS and REIS)

How to convince us

  • Completed university degree in Business, Mathematics or Economics. Or MBA, preferably with a focus on legal, finance, or surveying subjects.
  • Previous work experience within an active Corporate Finance, Structured Finance or investment banking environment.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the Real Estate market. Numerate, analytical, and highly familiar with the Commercial Estate market.
  • Excellent IT skills with advanced Excel capabilities, and competent with Outlook, Work and PowerPoint.
  • Business fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience and ability to analyze and research effectively.
  • Solid financial modeling and due diligence skills with respecto to Real Estate market.
  • Motivated, self-starter, and inventive professional with a willingness to make an impact. Strong desire and commitment to learn new things and grow professionally.
