The pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank is a leading specialist bank for financing investments in commercial real estate in Europe. We have more than 800 colleagues from 45 different nations who as a whole make an important contribution to society: They structure loans – even across national borders and help the real estate industry in becoming greener and more sustainable.

Our treasury department provides refinancing for real estate loans by issuing securities and, to a large extent, also through retail customer deposits. Under the pbb direkt brand, we are one of the leading online providers of overnight and fixed-term deposits in euros and US dollars, with around €7.3 billion in deposits and over 100,000 customers. We make extensive use of external service providers for call centres, IT, processing and marketing. A team of three colleagues develops the product and pricing strategy, is responsible for online marketing, acts as the decision-making authority and manages the interfaces with external partners.
