About us
Group Treasury is hiring a Treasury Specialist (m/f/d) for our Asset Liability Management (ALM) department in Eschborn near Frankfurt a.M.
Group Treasury is responsible for efficiently managing pbb’s financial resources including the management, control and optimization of the bank’s liquidity, funding, capital and corporate risks.
Your key responsibilities
- Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO): drive the ALCO agenda and compile and enhance presentations facilitating strategic financial resource management discussions with the executive board
- Treasury Multi Year Plan: compile and optimize Treasury inputs (incl. funding plan) for the annual multi-year planning process
- Funds Transfer Pricing: maintain and enhance the funding spread methodology
- Treasury p&l steering: establish and maintain a framework for Treasury p&l enabling effective monitoring, optimization and performance management of Treasury activities
- Treasury management information: develop and implement comprehensive Treasury management information enhancing data alignment, transparency and decision making
- Stakeholder engagement: collaborate with partners across Treasury, Finance, Risk & Business
- Strategic initiatives: drive strategic initiatives within Group Treasury ensuring alignment with the bank’s broader strategic goals and fostering collaboration across Treasury functions
Your skills and experience
- Education: Master or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACT) are a plus
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance or related functions, with broad exposure across liquidity, funding and capital management, preferably within a banking or financial services environment
- Strategic thinking: strong strategic mindset with a track record of developing and implementing successful Treasury strategies
- Presentation skills: excellent communication (English and German) and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Treasury generalist: deep understanding of banking products, key Treasury topics (incl. liquidity, funding and capital management) and relevant regulatory requirements #
- Analytical skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- IT skills: excellent IT skills, incl. proficiency in MS Office products, Treasury systems and preferably programming experience
